Great to see you here! Thank you for your interest in testing our system. We are building GetXDocs as a tool that helps translators and notaries translate personal documents in minutes. Our goal is to make translating typical documents like birth certificates or diplomas a whole lot easier to save translators time and effort. Important: This is not just a machine translation! We use a combination of OCR, pre-defined glossaries, certification-ready templates, AI translation, and transliteration.

All our test users are professional translators like you. Your skills, insights, and feedback are invaluable in building an effective tool. This is the first version, but we hope it will help you in your real-work tasks.

Register as a Beta Tester

How Does It Work?

  1. (Optional step) Register and log in. Register as a Beta Tester
  2. Select a document you’d like to translate from the catalog: https://getxdocs.com/available-translations
  3. Select the language, type in the data of the original document into the fields, and press “Get Preview”. (Soon, we will add a scanned document processing feature.)
  4. See the preview and correct the translation by pressing the red marks if needed. Then, press “Regenerate Preview” or “Get Translation.”
  5. You can choose “Checkout as Guest” or login as an existing user. To get the translation for free, use the special code you have received in our email after registering as a Beta Tester.
  6. Check your email and see our message with the ready translation.
  7. Feedback: When you receive a ready translation, you can see a link to the brief feedback form. You don’t have to fill it up, but every time you do, we review your feedback carefully.

Note: We don’t store any of your data. After receiving the translation, or if you close or reload the translation page, you need to enter the data again.

Q: Who can join the beta test?

A: We invite all professional translators and notaries who work with personal documents and see how to make this work easier and more effective.

Q: Is it free?

A: Absolutely! It stays free during the beta phase. Then, all our beta testers will get a special long-term discount.

Q: How much time do I need to spend to give feedback?

A: We do our best to make the test process easy for you. You don’t have to spend hours testing the features or providing detailed feedback. There is a link to a short feedback form in every email with a translation. You can fill up the form or not at your own choice. Usually, it takes 2-5 minutes to fill the form.

Q: How do you protect personal data?

A: Now, we don’t store any personal data at all. The data exists in our system only when the user works with the translation. Once the translation is ready, the system clears all the data and translation.

Q: How long is the beta phase?

A: Approximately 3-6 months. Then, we will invite the most active testers to become our test partners. These partners will continue testing our new features and use the system with a special discount.

Q: Is it machine translation (by Google, or DeepL, or ChatGPT, etc.)?

A: No. Our system uses machine translation for some parts, but also pre-defined templates, glossaries, and transliteration technologies.

Q: Will my feedback be confidential?

A: Yes, all the feedback reports and relevant details are confidential.
